December 1st is the Last date to Apply for the Fishery Certification Courses
The Tamilnadu Fishery University had informed that December 1st is the Last date to Apply for the Fishery based Certificate courses.
Nagai District, the Tamilnadu Fishery University will start the Fishery based four certificate courses from the Month of January.
Information released by the University in Relation to this: Prawn Farming Technology, Fish Preservative Technology are the two six month courses, Fish Capturing- Sailor Art- Handling the Ships is the one year course, Best Management Practices in the Prawn Farming is the Postal based 3 month course was announced by the University.
These courses are based on Tamil medium and it will start from the Month of January. Those who had completed 10th and +2 can join in these courses. The Filled Application forms must be sent to the Following address “Director, Fisheries Technology Center, First Beach road, Nagapattinam- 611 001”.It Should be sent with in 1st of December.

What is the eligibility for certification courses:
A 10th or 12th pass is required based on the course, kindly check the complete details regarding it in the below picture.
For female they will arrange hostel facilities if students wish, separate fees need to be paid for this.
TNFU is the short name of tamilnadu fisheries university which was inaugurated by the state government as the tamilnadu has a lengthy coastal line research institutions are necessary to use it efficiently so govt decided to start it.
