Tamilnadu Election date 2016 Announced / schedules
nasim Zaidi on 03/04/2016 has announced the election schedule for various states, as per his speech for tamilnadu and puducherry election will come on May 16, It will be conducted as single and the counting will be done on May 19.
As tamilnadu election dates were announced the election rules and regulation comes to effect from March 4th, state has 234 assembly constituencies, for all constituencies polling will be done in single sequence. For filing nomination April 29th is the last date.
All the nominations will be reviewed on April 30, for withdrawing nominations May is deadline.
Election date 2016 is nearing is for 4 states which are WB, kerala, Tamilnadu, Assam and for the union territory Pondicherry hence regarding schedule Chief election commissioner of India have discussed with electoral officers of these 5 regions. - In tamilnadu and pudcherry polling stations will be created in numbers 65616 and 913 respectively.
- As per the recent calculation there are 5.8 crore voters in tamilnadu.
- A symbol will be added to the polling machine for the voters who wish to choose NOTA (none of the above)
- For avoiding confusion commission have added the photograph of every candidates with the symbol.
- In each constitution All women polling booth will be set up.
Term of ongoing government will come to end on May 22, In last election counting date was scheduled nearly one month after the polling date, but this year counting date has been scheduled just after the two days of polling.
Due to this schedule political parties in tamilnadu have got enough time for planning Alliance, As still some parties like DMDK announced their status. For eliminating money distribution commission has planned to set up flying squads under different teams. Rajesh lakkani chief election commissioner of tamilnadu said As the schedules are released each parties should follow the commissions rules and tamilnadu government should not announce any new orders. Vehicle inspection begins from today if any one carries money more than 50,000 then he should carry appropriate documents of it else it will be seized. In the lokhshaba elections also these rules were followed specifically merchants who are dealing gold, silver whole sellers suffered lot hence commission instructs to carry appropriate documents if they want to carry money over 50,000.
AIADMK is the current ruling party, this election there is a tough competition between DMK and AIADMK, Result will come to know only on May 19 which are in the hands of public.
