RBI post assistant exam tamilnadu postponed / last year cut off 2014
online exam which was scheduled on September 28 for recruiting RBI assistant posts has been postponed without any date notification. In the tamilnadu circle RBI has 35 vacancies for assistants, for these about 40 thousand candidates are waiting to take the test. Exam was postponed due to the abnormal situation in tamilnadu after the arrest of state chief minister jayalalitha. The news is already informed to candidates through sms, so candidates are advised to wait till RBI announce the new date.
RBI took this decision after considering the law and order issues on the earlier date, officials had no other ways to held the exam on declared date. Except tamilnadu it was conducted successfully in all other states. See what RBI says about it here.

About the Recruitment:
Selection process comprises of a online based test and a interview, depending upon their skills ad presentation capability they will be filtered in two stages. After the first test, cut off marks of candidates will be calculated, toppers of each communal category (as per reservation norms) will be called for the next round.
