High court order to release private medical colleges fees details
The High court had ordered the Private medical colleges to release the information about there Fees Structure
The high court had ordered the private medical colleges to release the information about the fees they are collecting from the students for studying MBBS and also about the rank information about the students who had joined in there colleges. The high court had ordered that the colleges should release this information’s to the public.
The private colleges should mention in there prospectus about the complete fees to be collected from the students. This was ordered by the division bench which includes the Chief Judge, during the hearing of the plea that was applied towards this issue.
The Judges had mentioned in their Judgement that: Every year, the MBBS admission will take place from September 20 and it will end at 27th of the same month. This information was released by considering the time taken for the students to change there admission from one college to another college. From this, the student who wants to change the admission will get time up to one week.
The rank list should be released starting from morning 11 am of 20th of September till 5 pm of 27th of September through the official website and also through the notice board. This procedure will be implemented from next year.
The information mentioned in the plea applied by the Vijayakumar is “The Indian medical Council and the director of medical education should take necessary action to prevent the students joining in the MBBS course under the management quotas in the private medical colleges, apart from the New Prospectus.
Apart from this the new prospectus should contain all the details and it should also confirms that the MBBS admission was taking place based on the merit and with full transparency “.
