Tamilnadu 12th public practical exam time table feb 2015
Tamilnadu 12th practical examination is going to begin from February first week which may be from 4th to 22th of the month depending upon the districts. This will be completed within third week of February. Within the same month 28th marks of students will be sent to the DGE, Board has determined this schedule and instruction is forward to every school.
This year tn 12th public exam will be conducted from march 3 to march 31 about 9 lakh students are going to take this test, for the students who are studying subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany and Computer Science practical examination will be held before the theory exams. For these subjects theory exam will be held for 150 marks and practical exam will be held for 50 marks. Out of 50 20 marks will be allotted based on the internal assessments like project and record works and the remaining marks will be calculated based on the performance in the practicals and the exam duration will be 3 hours. For professional groups practicals will be conducted for 2 subjects for 400 marks.

Usually every year DGE notify particular dates for practical but this year it leaves this works in the hands of District educational officers of appropriate districts, so they will schedule the dates. In each districts total examiners, exam center for candidates and the timings were already scheduled. In Chennai nearly 300 centers were created for about 50 thousand students.
Chennai district students will going to attend the practical exams between February 5 to 22, for Madurai district schools it will start from 4th or 5th of the same month.

This year nearly 9 lakh students will going to participate in 12th public examinations, 50 additional exam centers were arranged by officials so the overall center numbers going to increase to nearly 1200. It will be more comfortable for the officials if each center have only less number of candidates, so DGE has planned to allocate a center for every 400 students.
