There was a Increase in the number of Students joining in IIT who had completed their education through Tamilnadu government based education system .The Main reason for this is the Students who had completed their 10th in CBSE are joining +1 and +2 in the TN Government based schools.
The Central government based Technical educational institute IIT was operated in the 16 places which includes the cities like Chennai, Delhi, Kanpur. A joint entrance exam called as JEE was conducted by the Human resources department to the students who wants to join in IIT and in the Indian School of Mines i.e ISM located in the Dhanbad, Jhargand state.
