Sainik schools are located at various places across india, it is also referred as military schools because these are run by sainik society which is created under the Indian defence ministry. These kind of schools give more effort to extracurricular activities so students will get more skills along with the education. Getting into these schools is not easy like regular because it conducts entrance exam for admission depending upon classes level. Entrance exam is conducted every year for the class 6th and 11th admission, aspirants have to sit for the test first and have to show their performance in a interview to get a seat. And cut off calculated in these two stages is used for creating merit list. Students who are having particularly required age limit are only permitted for taking the test. Which are 10 to 11 years for students who seeks 6th standard admission and 13 to14 years for the students who seeks 11th standard admission. About the Exam pattern:
Class 6 and class 11 have individual written test pattern, total marks for which the exam will be conducted for both the classes are 300 and 450 respectively.
