What is JEE?
JEE is organized jointly by the IITS and ISM every year, it have two levels which are named as Main and advanced exams. Candidates who have rank up to 1.5 lakh are allowed for advanced exam. First 1 lakh students will be selected as per the following format reservation.
Purpose of the exam: B.E, B.Arch, B.tech and some other UG courses admission in IIT, NIT and other central government institutions offering technical courses.
JEE advanced 2015:
At first notification was leaked out by the IIT Bombay, as per the source JEE advanced date is 24/05/2014. JAB is the name of the council which performs the admission process and the decisions taken by the board are final. This exam can be taken by a candidate twice in consequent.
All candidates who completed 12th / HSC standard level education from board which are approved by Indian universities are eligible for taking the exam, but he must have atleast 75 % marks if he comes from general category background else if he comes from reservation category like SC/ST/PWD 70% of marks is just needed. Also he must have age within the required age limit.
What is AAT?
AAT is test conducted for analyzing aptitude skills of students who are willing to join B.Arch programmes, To take AAT 2015 candidate must have required cut off in JEE advanced exam, its dates are also out now see it below.
AAT have separate syllabus as per the requirement for B.Arch course, its details are given in the below advertisement file. Candidates can use the same JEE online portal to register themselves for AAT, students chosen from AAT will get a great opportunity to pursue B.Arch course at IIT Kharagpur and Roorkee. As it is conducted for only less number of seats it will be held at only 7 places all over india.
